John Krasinski has pretty much always been known as the funny guy or the reserved guy, never really needing to get in great shape for any of his roles...but that's all changed now, and we love the results!

In order to prepare for his upcoming role as an ass-kicking Navy Seal in Michael Bay's 13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi, Emily Blunt's hubby started at 26 percent body fat and dropped down to just 5 percent in a matter of months.

So how did he do it? As the cover star of the Men's Health January/February 2016 issue, he reveals he worked out five days a week, twice a day. "I gotta be honest: It was brutal at times," he admits. "We did tons of metabolic work, dragging sleds and all this stuff I've seen NFL players do."

Despite the difficulty of the process, he admits to loving his new physique.

"I think there's a part of you where you become addicted to it," he tells the mag. "I walk with better posture and a little more presence. I was more of a sit-in-the-corner guy. Now I'm a lot less of that."

We can only imagine how much Blunt loves her hubby's new look, too!

Speaking of, he couldn't help but gush about her during his interview, admitting she's his "favorite thing to talk about."

He recalled how she invited him to a screening of The Young Victoria just three weeks after they began dating. "I remember watching that movie, and the entire time being like, ‘I wonder who she's going to date after this?'"

Seven years later, and they're still totally in love!
