She's a massive fan of pop culture—especially over reality shows like Keeping Up With the Kardashians—so sometimes her Hollywood peers end up becoming the butt of her jokes. Obviously, this doesn't always fly in an industry where image is everything, and although J.Law likely means nothing by her jokes, people's feelings tend to get hurt.
For example, in a recent interview with Stephen Colbert, the actress joked, "I get, like, Lindsay Lohan grade exhaustion, but without any drugs or alcohol. I'm always in bed early, but I'm still tired."

The Mean Girls actress is certainly not alone as this isn't the first time J.Law's sense of humor has resulted in backlash. In fact, here are 5 other times she's rubbed people the wrong way:
1. That time she called out Dina Lohan for having bad taste: In another joking moment that saw the Lohan family at the butt of a diss, J.Law recalled the time her mom embarrassed her on the red carpet to W magazine.
"My mom talked about Hunger Games on the red carpet at the Academy Awards, which was something I had told her a million times not to do," Jennifer told the publication in 2012. "She's like Dina Lohan! But she has good taste."
2. During her Golden Globes speech when she yelled, "I beat Meryl!" After beating Meryl Streep for Best Actress at the 2013 Golden Globes, J.Law jokingly looked down at her trophy and said, "Oh, what does it say? 'I beat Meryl!'"
Though Lawrence calmed haters by telling them she pulled the quote from Bette Midler in First Wives Club, many people still considered it a jab at Streep.
3. The time she said she puked in front of Miley Cyrus: J.Law sort of made Cyrus seem like a you-know-what while recalling a story on Late Night With Seth Meyers about throwing up in front of the "Wrecking Ball" singer at Guy Oseary's Oscars party in 2014.
"And I puked on his porch. I was in such bad condition and I look behind me while I'm puking and Miley Cyrus is there, like, 'Get it together.'"
4. When she dissed the clean eating habits Gwyneth Paltrow is famous for following: Lawrence famously dated Chris Martin after his split from Paltrow, and in 2014 the 25-year-old actress seemed to throw shade at her beau's ex.
J.Law called gluten-free diets "the new cool eating disorder" and promised she is an "anti-vegan, anti-gluten-free consumer," seemingly dissing Paltrow and her healthy lifestyle.
5. When she claimed that Donald Trump running for president was a big publicity stunt: J.Law probably pissed off a lot of Trump fans when she told Entertainment Weekly in October, "If Donald Trump becomes president, that will be the end of the world."
She later revealed that she simply could not believe he was even attempting to run, saying she believes his candidacy is just one big conspiracy theory. "I genuinely believe that reality television has reached the ultimate place where now even things like this might just be for entertainment," Lawrence explained. "It's either that, or it's Hillary's brilliant idea."
But while J.Law may poke fun at a lot of celebs, there is no one she makes fun of more than herself. The actress is incredibly self-deprecating and often makes herself the butt of her own jokes. She has been quoted saying, "I'm not cool enough to be at this party," and tells her friends to slap her if they think she's getting full of herself. She's not afraid to admit that sometimes she feels chubby compared to other actresses and that she simply refuses to diet and exercise.
The moral of the story? She knows she's not perfect, and she's completely aware that not everyone is going to like her all the time. So whether you think her LiLo comments were mean or not, here's what J.Law would likely respond: "They want you to be likable all the time, and I'm just not."
