Tina Fey does an excellent impression of Sarah Palin, but that's about the only impression she can do. The star of Universal Pictures' Sisters appeared on NBC's The Tonight Show Monday, where Fey's former Saturday Night Live colleague Jimmy Fallon playfully teased his guest over her poor impression of Robert De Niro and asked her to do three more impressions for him.

"We have a game for you. It's called 'First Impressions.' The game works like this: In front of us is a stack of cards with names of celebrities or famous characters on them. Now, you pick up the card on top of the pile, you read the random phrase on the card in the voice of the celebrity or character…The other person has to guess who you are impersonating," Fallon told Fey, who said she stinks at these kind of games. "I think I know you that well that I could probably guess."

Jack Nicholson's name was written on the first card Fey drew from the pile. "Did you see that Adele concert tonight? That little gal's got a heck of a set of pipes on her," she said in his voice. Fallon was unsure if she was doing Nicholson or Matthew McConaughey, but he figured it out.

Fallon did a Barbara Walters impression, saying, "I once saw a walrus wrestling on a rock." Fey guessed correctly—how could she not?—but Fallon admitted he didn't do Walters "very good."

"You've done Barbara Walters a million times," Fey joked.

As the studio swelled with laughter, Fallon finally got the joke. "Unbelievable. Unbelievable," he said. "That's the type of stuff that I'm not going to sit for. I'm not going to stand for it, either!"

For her impression of Sofia Vergara, Fey only managed to spit out, "My favorite Christmas song is..." before she and Fallon burst into laughter. To look like a bit more like the Modern Family star, Fey pushed her boobs together. "I can't even get them to make one good one!" she said.

Sisters is in theaters Friday.
