The winners of the 13th season of The Amazing Race were, in a word, Fantastick.

After traversing more than 40,000 miles over 22 days, the brother-sister team of Nick and Starr Spangler was the first to cross the finish line, getting declared the newest winners of the CBS Emmy-magnet and receiving the $1 million prize.

"She's been unbelievable on this race," the 22-year-old Nick said of his little sister. "More than $1 million, more than being the winners of The Amazing Race, I love the experience that I've gone through with my sister, and I've loved seeing her succeed so greatly."

Luckily, the only rivalry the siblings exhibited were for the other teams.

The 21-year-old Starr was as effusive with her praise as her brother, calling Nick her "best friend" after realizing they were the first to reach their destination in Portland, Ore.

The sibling duo, the star of off-Broadway's The Fantasticks and a former Dallas Cowboys cheerleader, respectively, proved quicker than the other two team finalists, the separated husband and wife team of Ken and Tina Greene, who came second, and frat brothers Andrew Lappitt and Dan Honig, who traveled under the moniker "Team Superbad."

However, the Greenes' second place finish proved to be its own kind of win, with the estranged duo tearfully choosing to put their wedding rings back on and give their relationship another go after completing their hard-fought global trek.

As for the Spanglers, while their win was close, it was far from unexpected. The frontrunners going into the home stretch, the siblings had won six of the nine challenges leading up to tonight's finale—a tie for the series' best record.

In addition to the split million-dollar grand prize, the Spanglers racked up an impressive array of booty throughout the season, including his-and-hers electric cars and trips to Belize, Anguilla and Hawaii.
