Gone are the days of secretly shame eating McDonald's in your bed because you're too sophisticated to publicly proclaim your lust for McNuggets. Enter the chains new Taste Crafted menu that rolled out in more than 600 Southern California McDonald's restaurants today, according to an article in The Orange County Register by the Fast Food Maven, Nancy Luna.

Forget boring Big Macs and monotone McChickens, if you like your food served with a side of class, we think this menu might be for you. McDonald's new items can be customized to your liking with different options for buns, beef or chicken patties, and posh toppings. One of the flavor varieties is "Buffalo Bacon," which according to the article, involves blue cheese, bacon and spicy buffalo sauce, to name a few ingredients. You had us at blue cheese. Actually, you had us at McDonald's, but whatever. Excuse us while we put on our fancy pants.

The article notes, the menu addition was prompted by customers demand for the desire for variety and customizable menu options, according to the president of the McDonald's Operators' Association of Southern California, Clay Paschen III. Gaze into the buns of those bad boys above and tell us that isn't the classiest fast food you've seen in a minute. Smart move McDonald's.

That's not all the chain is doing to pump up their swank factor, however. The article notes in a separate initiative; the restaurants have begun to test out table service in Southern California as well. Now when you walk into certain locations, you will be given a number with your order, which will be delivered to your table. Slay.

How do you feel about the new classed-up McDonald's?
