Ouch!

Amy Schumer took to Instagram Sunday to show off her souvenir from her stint as the host of Saturday Night Live. Schumer hosted the weekly live show Oct. 10 but is still feeling the effects of her very physical role, which involved running into an airplane over and over again. As a result, Schumer ended up with a massive bruise on her back.

Pulling her shirt off her shoulder, Schumer revealed her crazy bruise, which takes over the entire left side of her back. "This is what happens when you repeatedly run into a fake airplane door on @nbcsnl with @vanessabayer," she captioned the shocking pic.

The SNL sketch the Trainwreck star is referencing is the one that had both her and Vanessa Bayer acting as flight attendants for Delta, but the flight took a horrible turn when the plane door unexpectedly opened during their song about in-flight service (kudos for their Spice Girls tribute!). The comediennes both experienced falling out of the plane (they were ultimately saved), but the repeated attempts must have been too much for Schumer's body.

Two of her other hilarious skits were "Porn Teacher," in which Schumer played a sexy teacher trying to seduce one of her students, and "Guns," a pre-taped mock commercial that explained why guns make the best presents, even for toddlers.

Schumer has been very vocal about gun control since a shooter opened fire inside a theater screening Trainwreck and has partnered up with her politico cousin, Chuck Schumer, to try to enact change in legislation.

She introduced the hashtag #AimingForChange in October to unite people online under a common cause. "Live from New York: We're aiming for a change," Senator Schumer added upon their campaign's launch, playing on Saturday Night Live's famous opening line.

"I'm not sure why this man chose my movie to end those two lives and injure nine others, but it was very personal for me," the Inside Amy Schumer star said in a press conference at the end of the summer. "We always find out how the shooter got their gun and it's always something that never should have happened in the first place."

(E! and NBC are both part of the NBCUniversal family.)
