Miranda Lambert is finally speaking out about her and Blake Shelton's much-publicized divorce.

The 32-year-old country star talked about their breakup in an interview with Cosmopolitan, which Entertainment Tonight and NBC's Today show reported this week, more than four months after Shelton, 39, filed papers to end their marriage.

"Marriage is a tough business, and we gave it our best college try," she is quoted as telling the magazine. "I had a great relationship with an amazing man, so I know what good is. I have a great launching pad for the future. I will never take that for granted."

Lambert and Shelton, 39, were married for more than four years. They have no children together.

Shelton, who first spoken about the divorce in the press in September, has since gone on to date his The Voice co-star Gwen Stefani, 46, who filed her own papers to end her marriage to husband Gavin Rossdale, father of their three sons, in August.

Lambert has herself recently stepped into the dating game, but there's no one serious on the horizon yet, E! News learned recently.

"She can't wait to one day have children if it's meant to be and have a husband again," a source had said.  She has not given up on love."

Meanwhile, judging from her Instagram page, Lambert is opting to spend the Thanksgiving holiday with her family.

"Nothing beats a handwritten note from Mom. #homesweethome #cheetosandwine," she wrote.
