Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin continue to prove just how amicable they really are, reuniting for an early Thanksgiving with their family.

E! News has learned that the exes sat down for dinner at the upscale New York restaurant The Lion on Monday night, joining their two children Apple, 11, and Moses, 9, as well as Paltrow's Mother, Blythe Danner, and her brother, Jake.

An onlooker tells us that it appeared to be a "happy, relaxed family dinner." Gwyneth enjoyed a glass of white wine, while the kids chowed down on some mac and cheese.

Meanwhile, Paltrow, 42, and Martin, 38, decided to "consciously uncouple" in March 2014 after 10 years of marriage. They released a statement at the time that read: "It is with hearts full of sadness that we have decided to separate. We have been working hard for well over a year, some of it together, some of it separated, to see what might have been possible between us, and we have come to the conclusion that while we love each other very much we will remain separate."

Since then, the two have continued to prioritize co-parenting their two children together to give them as much of a normal family life as possible. In fact, over the summer, Paltrow opened up about moving forward as a family during an appearance at the #BlogHer15 conference.

"I think, unfortunately, though we couldn't stay in a romantic relationship, we're very, our values are very much around the importance of family and the importance of those relationships and I'm lucky that we're aligned in that way," she said at the time. "And it's been hard, and you know, like, we've gone through really difficult times with it but we've always said these children are our priority."

She added, "What that really means is, 'Even though today, you hate me and you never want to see me again, like, we're going to brunch, 'cause it's Sunday and that's what we'll do!' You know, like, 'That's what's happening!'" she said. "Like, the children are our commitment."

The same rules obviously apply for Thanksgiving!
