If you are planning on seeing old friends from high school over Thanksgiving break and you really want to show them how successful you are, you could always rent a Porsche, deck yourself out in designer duds and brag about your "stock options." Sure, you don't know exactly know what you mean when you say "stock options," but it sounds impressive.

Or if you don't want to spend all that money, you could just casually bust out a gold-plated Kit Kat bar and let the sound of impressed "ooooo's" fill the air. Nailed it.

So how does one get their hands on a gold-plated candy bar? Simple. You just have to go to Japan. Easy peasy, right?

To celebrate over one million visitors to their speciality Kit Kat stores, Nestlé Japan will be selling a limited edition "Sublime Gold Kit Kat." It will be covered with gold leaf and only 500 will be available to buy for 2,016 yen ($16.41 USD).

The fancy candy bar will be available starting at the end of December at Kit Kat stores in Tokyo, Kyoto, Nagoya, Osaka, Sapporo and Fukuoka. Sidenote: why don't we have Kit Kat specialty stores over here?! Japan, you win again in the cool food department.

If a gold-covered chocolate treat isn't good enough for you because you're a Greedy Gus, then you can also enter to win a 24-karat gold version of a Kit Kat bar. That's some Scrooge McDuck-level fanciness right there.
