"Hello," Adele and welcome back to Saturday Night Live!
The 27-year-old British singer, who recently made a music comeback, is the musical guest on SNL this weekend, while Matthew McConaughey, 46, will host the show for the second time.
Adele, who has appeared on the NBC sketch comedy series twice before, appeared in a promo video with the actor and cast member Cecily Strong, 31. The clip was posted on Friday, the same day the singer's anticipated new album 25 was released.
In the promo, McConaughey "McConaugheys" a long-winded story and during another take, he begins to speak and is interrupted by the sound of a ringing cellphone.
Adele is currently promoting her haunting single "Hello," her first new song in three years. The ballad is featured on 25, her first new album in four years.
The singer's "Hello" music video shows her using a flip phone, which McConaughey hands to her in the SNL promo.
"It's always for Adele!" Strong pretends to whine.
