Kate Middleton did away with the heels and dresses and opted for a red slicker, a harness and a helmet!

She and Prince William visited Towers Residential Outdoor Education Centre Friday and went repelling. If you're unfamiliar with the sport, it's when people repel down cliffs, mountains and the like. While obviously very risky, it looks like our favorite royals didn't hit the mountaintops! Instead they practiced rappelling off a wall, which was of course supervised.

The Duchess of Cambridge looked like she was having an absolute blast during her mini thrill ride, as she was photographed with an ear-to-ear grin on her face. There was absolutely no fear in her eyes—only total happiness and excitement. Her husband also seemed to have a good time repelling, but he looked a bit more confused than his wife! Leave it to Kate to totally one-up her husband during a probably first-time experience.

The royal couple is all about the great outdoors for their family as of late, as they both agreed they would like their daughter, Princess Charlotte, to join the Rainbows, the youngest group of Girl Scouts (ages 5-7), in a few years! They revealed the news Friday when they visited the town in which they spent their first four years of marriage.

What a busy Friday!

"[Kate] said that she needs to put Charlotte's name down for Rainbows," Caernarfon's county commissioner for Girl Guides, Jill Wilkinson, told People.

In addition to meeting with a local group of Girl Scouts, Kate and Wills also oversaw a photography project run by the local branch of a mental health charity named Mind. They also spent some time with a group that provides support and accommodation for local homeless youth.

This perfect couple really knows how to balance work and fun.
