Whether you believe Deflategate to be real or not, Tom Brady is undoubtedly one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL, and thus one of the best leaders, too…but would he ever think about taking those leadership qualities off the field?

Some die-hard Patriots fans believe in him becoming the president—or at least the governor of Massachusetts—but the hunky footballer says not so fast.

Sitting down with GQ magazine as a part of their 20th anniversary Men of the Year issue, Brady candidly admits, "There is a 0.000 chance of me ever wanting to do that. I just think that no matter what you'd say or what you'd do, you'd be in a position where—you know, you're politicking. You know?"

He explains further, "Like, I think the great part about what I do is that there's a scoreboard. At the end of every week, you know how you did. You know how well you prepared. You know whether you executed your game plan. There's a tangible score. I think in politics, half the people are gonna like you and half the people are not gonna like you, no matter what you do or what you say.… It's like there are no right answers. If there were, everyone would choose the right answers. They're all opinions."

So if he's not running for office, who will he support in the upcoming elections?

Brady was previously rumored to be a supporter for Donald Trump when reporters noticed a "Make America Great Again" hat—the slogan for Trump's campaign—sitting in his locker.

When asked about the controversial candidate taking on the presidency, the quarterback shrugged it off joking, "I hope so. It would be great. There'd be a putting green on the White House lawn, I'm sure of that!"

However, he quickly made sure to clarify his remarks. "He's been a fun guy that I've had a lot of time around," he explained to WEEI's Dennis & Callahan Show a few days later in September."The fact that he's running has obviously led to a lot of stories and debates and ratings were huge for all those Republican debates and so forth. One way or another, it's so far away from when the election will be."

He adds, "Whatever I vote is going to be my own personal choice based on how I feel. I don't even know what the issues are. I haven't paid attention to politics in a long time. It's actually not something that I really even enjoy. It's way off my radar."
