Julie Bowen has some pretty exciting plans for Thanksgiving this year: She'll be attending Sofía Vergara and Joe Manganiello's wedding!
Bowen caught up with E! News' Will Marfuggi at the 2015 Baby2Baby gala over the weekend and opened up about how her Modern Family co-star is handling everything mere days before her big day! "She's like a bride," Bowen said.
"She keeps saying she's bridezilla, but I think she's much more in control. She plays that card but she's a cool customer."
The Happy Gilmore actress also revealed that the couple is opting for charity donations in lieu of presents, but Bowen told us that she's thinking of donating and giving them a gift. Of course, the comedy star isn't going to buy them a toaster or an omelet pan; she's going for something that's a little less practical.
"I'll get them something funny. I'll give to those charities," she said, adding, "but I want to get them something silly like maybe a paint by numbers nude of the two of them."
Now that's one way to make a statement! If only we could get our hands on the thank you note for that gift.
Vergara has been very open in the past about her bridezilla tendencies but the truth of it all is that she left the majority of the heavy lifting to celebrity wedding planner Mindy Weiss, who Vergara said on Good Morning America has been a "great party planner."
"I am very detail-oriented so I am kind of like a nightmare," she confessed. "I have a very good memory. If you show me swatches of things, I can in two months exactly remember, 'What happened with the one with the little border that had the little print?' I'm like, really bad."
Thankfully she has a fiancé who is very easy going when it comes to making decisions.
"He's a pleasure to be doing this with. He lets me do whatever I want," Vergara confessed. "I show him options that of course I already want and I'm happy with, so whatever he's going to pick I already like."
Vergara and the One Tree Hill alum are set to tie the knot at The Breakers in Palm Beach, Florida.
