This just in, idiot hookers: Scream Queens' Emma Roberts has parted ways with her waist-length golden mane. By the looks of it, the 24-year-old actress—who delights (and terrorizes) on-screen with her Chanel Oberlin alter ego—has gone back to her shoulder-length lob thanks to Nine Zero One salon's celeb adored-duo, Riawna Capri and Nikki Lee.
"That's a wrap on filming #ScreamQueens," Roberts captioned her Instagram selfie. "Bye Chanel… hello short hair."
No need to gasp or clutch pearls, Scream Queen fanatics—the girth of Emma's Scream Queens hairstyle came courtesy of a few excellent extensions, meaning that her freshly trimmed lob will easily transition back into Chanel's Disney princess-worthy locks should the series be renewed for season two (fingers crossed!).
And although the candid shot is filtered in black-and-white, it would seem that Ms. Roberts has kept Chanel's bright blond hair color.
In particular regards to the styling department, the Fox teen-thriller has exceeded all expectations. Because with A-list recruits like wardrobe stylist Lauren Bott, makeup artist Melissa Buell and hair stylist Jennifer Johnson crafting all the looks, each and every Chanel has been a perfectly-polished sartorial hit (no frumpy donkeys here).
But let's be real here: Chanel number one (and her glorious long locks) is obviously standout style star of the show.
