Domhnall Gleeson is smitten with Gigi Hadid.

And who could blame him? In a flirtatious fashion spread for Vogue's December issue (on newsstands Wednesday), the Star Wars: The Force Awakens actor, 32, and the model of the moment, 20, look like a hot new couple. One picture features Hadid wearing a $3,980 Gucci Chantilly-lace mini-dress that is embellished with strategically placed embroidery in the shape of dragonflies and other winged insects. Gleeson, meanwhile, looks dapper in a suit by Dries Van Noten.

The photo shoot took place at Serralves in Porto, Portugal.

Gleeson and Hadid's chemistry is undeniable in yet another photo, in which the bikini-clad (and recently single) blond bombshell locks lips with the actor. In a solo shot, Hadid still smolders while wearing a Givenchy by Riccardo Tisci patchwork dress, which she accessorized with Me & Ro rings and Tomas Maier espadrilles.

It's fitting that they're in the final issue of 2015, as it's been a banner year for both.

Hadid recently made her debut in the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show, airing Dec. 8 at 10 p.m. on CBS, fulfilling a childhood dream. "It's so exciting. I've been watching this since I was like a kid and during commercial breaks practicing my runway walk in my room," she told E! News before the show. "This is insane. It's just great to have an actual dream actually come true is so crazy. This is what made me want to be a model and these are the girls I looked up to my whole life. So, to be in it with them and to get to see them do what they're pros at in real life is amazing."

Hadid's longtime "bestie" Kendall Jenner also walked in the show. "When we found out we were doing it together...There is nothing else I could ask for except doing it with Kendall," she gushed. "We're just so excited! And we're so nervous! We were texting this morning, like, 'Are you as nervous as I am?' We met up and we talked about our walks and just planned it out in our heads."

Gleeson, meanwhile, has been busy promoting his biggest role to date in Star Wars: The Force Awakens, in theaters Dec. 18. He plays General Hux, commander of the First Order. "There's an air of superiority, and being better than those people around you," he says of his character in Entertainment Weekly's Nov. 20-27 issue. "He's pretty ruthless. A strong disciplinarian would be a mild way of putting it."

How did someone so young reach such a high rank?

"You don't get that high up in your life that quickly unless you're pretty ruthless," Gleeson tells the magazine, on newsstands now. "You have to put a few people down on the way to get there." The First Order fears individuality, the actor adds. "People who are messed up themselves often want to squash the individuality out of other people because they're afraid of what it means."

As for his relationship with fellow villain Kylo Ren (Adam Driver), Gleeson kept it a mystery. That said, he did share some new information: "He's kind of opposite Kylo Ren. They have their own relationship, which is individual and unusual. One of them is strong in different ways than the other. They're both vying for power."
