Britney Spears' Son Just Won the Coolest Award at School That Would Make Any Parent Proud

Britney Spears had a big reason to celebrate at the end of her week when she attended a ceremony with her son.

As it turns out, Sean Preston was recognized for a valuable skill any parent would be thrilled to pass on to their kids.

"My son received an award at school today for being the best encourager!!" she wrote on Instagram with a picture of her child smiling for the camera while holding a trophy.

Spears would later head to Las Vegas Friday night for another performance at the Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino.

As she continues her popular residency in the famous city, Spears is finding plenty of time for family time with her two kids.

With breaks spread throughout the year, the pop superstar is more than able to celebrate her sons' biggest milestones. Earlier this fall, Spears treated her boys to a special birthday party that was perfect for her skater boys.

A source told E! News that Spears invited around 40 guests to visit the Skatelab in Simi Valley, Calf. Described as an indoor skate park and museum, the venue allowed both Sean Preston and Jayden James to show off their skills.

"Britney's boys are total skater boys," Linda Cohen told E! News after providing treats for guests. "While last year's party was totally skate-themed, this year the boys wanted a little bit of a DJ-theme incorporated."
