On June 30, a day after their 10-year wedding anniversary and a little more than two weeks before production on the movie began, Garner and Affleck announced plans to divorce. Neither actor has yet filed legal documents.

The two are parents to two daughters, Violet, 9, and Seraphina, 6, and son Samuel, 3. During the summer, while production on Miracles From Heaven was ongoing, Affleck flew Atlanta several times this summer to visit the family. He stayed in the guest house of a property Garner rented.

Filming ended in October. A month earlier, Garner and Affleck were photographed together back home in Los Angeles and even even stepped out for a dinner date.

"Jennifer really loves Ben and wants to be able to forgive him for the drama," a friend of the actress had told E! News, following a "Nannygate" scandal. Affleck has denied anything romantic went on between him and the couple's now-former nanny.

"She isn't going to ever stop loving him," the friend said about Garner. "He's the father of her kids and she wants him in their lives."
