Khloe Kardashian is Lamar Odom's support system, and now James Harden has become hers.
The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star talked to E! News' Maria Menounos at her book signing for Strong Looks Better Naked (out now) and revealed that her Houston Rockets boyfriend has been nothing short of wonderful since Lamar entered the hospital in Las Vegas.
"James has been great he's been really supportive, really understanding," she told Maria. "But I've been honest."
Khloe also dished that she understands why her fans rely on their imaginations to picture what's going on between her and Lamar when she visits him, but insists it's strictly medical. She has said that she'll always love Lamar, but right now her focus is on getting him better, which Harden is more than aware of.
"I understand why it's confusing to other people because it's confusing to me, too, but I understand why the media wanted to make it this great love story like that would be wonderful but there are so many more layers that people are forgetting," Khloe explained.
"I think it's honest communication just really being honest and hearing [Harden's] feelings as well—what he's comfortable with and what he's not, and I have to respect that," she added.
Since Lamar transferred to a Los Angeles hospital, Khloe has slowly begun to return to her normal life, attending Kim Kardashian's baby shower and even stepping out for a date night with Harden Sunday. The couple still seems to be going strong, as a source told us they were very affectionate toward each other throughout the entire evening.
An eyewitness also dished to us that the couple stopped by Real 92.3's "The Real Show" at the Forum to watch Future, Kendrick Lamar and Drake perform.
When Khloe and Lamar called off their divorce, many questioned whether or not she and the NBA star were still an item, but E! News confirmed that they were still together. He even helped her get through Lamar's health scare. "Khloe and James never broke up. He's been so understanding and he knows that Khloe's love for Lamar is deeper than what most people can understand," a source previously explained to us.
"He's been very understanding and supportive. Lamar has a long road ahead of him and Khloe will always have the love she has for Lamar."
