Caitlyn Jenner was just named OUT100's Newsmaker of the Year!

Every year OUT puts together a special double issue to honor the year's most compelling people and Caitlyn has been chosen as one of the honorees.

2015 has been an incredible year for Caitlyn, coming out as transgender, opening up about her transition, receiving the Arthur Ashe Courage Award at the 2015 ESPYs and documenting her journey in her E! docu-series, I Am Cait.

"I'm so terribly excited about the future," Caitlyn told OUT. "I have so many things to do. I have a place in life."

Other honorees from the 21st annual OUT100 portfolio include Cynthia Nixon and Lily Tomlin.

The OUT100 Presented by Lexus celebration will take place in NYC on Nov. 11 and it's said to be one of the year's most-anticipated LGBT events.

You can purchase a copy of this year's OUT100 print issue on newsstands on Nov. 17 and online at www.out.com!

Be sure to watch I Am Cait when the show returns next year!
