Just when you thought that the gap between generations wasn't that large after all, along comes this video that reminds you just how much has changed since you were a teenager.
In the video, a dad uses the landline phone in a hotel room and then hands it off to his daughter to hang up. She stares at it, blankly. You know she's looking for the "end" button or the touch screen command that will hang it up. She has no idea that the only thing she needs to do to end the call is just place it back on the cradle.
The look of befuddlement on her face is both hilarious and depressing at the same time. Hasn't she at least seen landlines used in old movies?! And by "old movies," we mean movies from like, 10 years ago. Ugh, we're old.
R.I.P. landlines. The future generation has officially passed you by. We lay you to rest next to cassette tapes and encyclopedia collections.
