Daniel Fleetwood is a 32-year-old man and super Star Wars fan who was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer and was given two months to live in July. His dying wish was to see an advanced screening of the franchise's latest film, Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

Daniel's wife, Ashley, took to Twitter to share a photo of Daniel with the caption, "#forcefordaniel help my man get his last wish, to see a screening of Star Wars before cancer takes him. @bad_robot."

And you know the power of the Internet. Daniel's dying wish somehow caught the attention of director J.J. Abrams who helped his dream come true.

"To all our wonderful supporters, friends, family and awesome strangers: Daniels final dream was just granted!!! Today the wonderful Disney and Lucasfilms made his final dream come true, in the amazing typical Disney way, they really do make dreams come true," Ashley wrote on Facebook.

"Daniel just finished watching an unedited version of Star Wars: The Force Awakens!!! We would like to thank the awesomely talented JJ Abrams for calling us yesterday to tell us Daniel was getting his wish granted! We also would like to thank Lynne, Ben and Anahuac for coming to our home and screening the movie for Daniel. Lastly I want to thank ALL the amazing people who helped make this happen, thank you beyond words!!! May the force be with you all smile emoticon ‪#‎forcefordaniel‬ !!!!"

The screening took place at Daniel's home, and although he can't say anything about the movie, his wife tells Entertainment Tonight, "It was an amazing experience!"

Luke Skywalker, er, Mark Hamill even got in on the action:

Congratulations, Daniel! And you can catch the flick when it hits theaters Dec. 18.
