Miley Cyrus may want keep that blond wig handy. The Disney Channel has announced an order for more episodes for the current season of her megahit show, Hannah Montana.

Season three, which kicked off Nov. 2, is still in production, but had been slated to run 24 episodes and end in May 2009. Disney did not immediately specify how many new episodes would be shot. Hannah's second season consisted of 30 episodes.

While the recent Sweet 16er is regularly forced to shoot down gossip that she wishes to drive away from the vehicle that created her, she has insisted she's "fully committed" to the series.

If the extra episodes aren't enough, Hannah Montana: The Movie is slated to hit theaters in April.

Disney Channel surfers will also be heartened by news from the Mouse House today of a second-season pickup for The Suite Life on Deck, starring Dylan and Cole Sprouse and emerging idol Brenda Song.

She doesn't have much choice—should the network decide to order a fourth season, the starlet is contractually obligated to participate. Occasional diva rumors, nude photos and an older boyfriend aren't likely to sway the Mouse from its cash cow.
