James Corden recruited Jason Derulo for some carpool karaoke Wednesday, and dare we say it was the best one yet?
Corden and Derulo made their way around Los Angeles, despite the fact that the "Want to Want Me" singer partied until 6 a.m. that morning. Confused as to how he could look so spritely, Corden asked him what his secret was, and he simply revealed it was coffee. Needing only one cup, Derulo was fueled to sing his heart out.
The duo began with "Talk Dirty," which obviously led to some questions about whether he actually talks dirty in the sack.
"In my younger years...I would never speak like that," Derulo confessed. "I was just kind of silent until one girl told me that it was weird."
"So now you're full vocal. Jason Derulo," Corden responded, mimicking the singer's famous intro to many of his songs.
The Late Late Show host further questioned Jordin Sparks' ex about his nighttime habits and asked him what was the highest number of people he has ever had in his bed. When Derulo revealed it was five, Corden was shocked.
"You must have a huge bed!" the late-night talk show host quipped.
Derulo admitted to having a round bed, which Corden had a tough time taking seriously. "You've got a round bed?! I don't even know where I'd purchase such a thing. Where do you buy sheets for that?"
The dynamic duo launched into "Want to Want Me" next, and let's just say they gave it their all. Both Corden and Derulo got super into the catchy tune and even put some subtle dance moves on display. But it all came to a head during the chorus when Derulo went off book and began harmonizing the pop song.
Not only can Derulo sing, he can also dance phenomenally, so naturally Corden wanted a lesson or two. They pulled over at a gas station where each celeb showed each other their best movies, and to put it mildly, Corden really had some fancy footwork.
That is, until Derulo one-upped him with his own moves.
