The prodigal couple has returned.

Fresh from their quickie wedding and subsequent honeymoon in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt arrived in Los Angeles yesterday afternoon and headed for The Hills.

Speidi hardly had a chance to unpack before making their first-ever call into The Hills: Live After Show.

"We were just chillin', having some nice Patrón margaritas on the rocks, beautiful day, talking about how much we love each other," Pratt recounted. "I was like, 'Hey, there's a chapel in the neighborhood. Let's go do this.' "

While they claimed the event was "just the two of [them]," Pratt confirmed that the Hills' cameras caught what Montag called "the best moment of my life."

(That said, the Nov. 20 nuptials didn't constitute a legal union, and the couple are still lacking certain symbolic jewelry. They have previously said they will take care of those details and make things official in a civil ceremony at some unspecified date.)

As for their Hills intrigue, Montag teased the status of her relationship with Lauren Conrad.

"I think [we're] good," the new bride said. "She was a good part of my life and I'll always have great memories with her. As for future friendship, I'm not sure."
