A day in the life of Kendall Jenner starts at 6:30 a.m., sharp.

In the midst of shooting high-profile campaigns and sauntering down world-class catwalks during Paris Fashion Week last month, the 19-year-old E! star took time out of her chaotic model schedule to let Vogue Paris chronicle a day in her life. But the fashion editors at the mag didn't just pick any 'ole day to catch up with KJ—they sought her out on the morning of her seventh Chanel show, arriving bright and early at her hotel room.

"I'm very excited for Chanel, I've heard a lot of awesome things," Kendall tells the mag in the nearly five-minute video of her (then) day-of show. "Karl [Lagerfeld] never fails to impress and one up himself."

"I remember my first season going to [Chanel's] casting and thinking 'I'm not getting Chanel, this is impossible,'" she said, thinking back to her first experiences with the elite fashion house. "Every time someone would ask me 'what's your goal?' I would say Chanel, like walking for Chanel. So to be able to have the relationship I've had with them and walk for them every season since [first being cast], to do the couture shows, be the bride is absolutely mind blowing. I can't even believe it's actually happening."

While prepping for the show—which turned out to be an airport extravaganza of a runway presentation, FYI—Kendall also opened about getting her start in the industry, and the designer she'll always be grateful for opening her first high fashion door.

"My first show was Marc Jacobs. My first real show," she shared. "It felt amazing to step out on the catwalk for the first time. We did it very secretively; no one knew I was doing fashion week, no one knew I was doing anything. Marc finally accepted me and wanted me to do it, which I'm so grateful for because I don't think I'd be where I am if Marc didn't accept me like he did. For the show, I had a wig on and bleached eyebrows, you couldn't even tell it looked like me. I looked kind of like an alien and I was naked. It was the moment where I could say I'm really doing this."
