Amanda Bynes Steps Out in Leather and Skinny Jeans During L.A. Shopping Trip

Former childhood actress is working on her education

Amanda Bynes appears to be doing well for herself these days.

The former child star was just spotted out and about in Los Angeles running a few last-minute errands before Halloween weekend in Los Angeles.

The 29-year-old seemed to be in good spirits as she exited a drugstore with a pal dressed in a pair of black skinny jeans and a matching leather shirt.

Bynes sported her now-signature long blond locks and sunglasses during the outing and also showed off a new accessory: a wrist piercing.

Less than a month ago, E! News confirmed that Bynes had enrolled back in school at the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising (FIDM) for the Fall semester.

"We are all so proud of her," Bynes' parents' attorney, Tamar Arminak told us at the time. "[We] can't wait to see her amazing designs on the runway someday."

Meanwhile, a source exclusively told us that the She's the Man star really "loves her school."

And although Bynes was "originally going to be a fashion design major," she ultimately "decided to pursue merchandise product development."

We're glad to see she's doing well and adding new accomplishments to her resume!
