No, it wasn't National Strum Your Guitar and Sing a Totally Relatable Love Song Day (would anyone happen to have that date, though?). It's #NationalCatDay, and anyone who knows T.Swift is well aware that she's all about her furry feline pals, so it was only a matter of time until she gave recognition to her Internet-famous cats, Olivia Benson and Meredith Grey.
Or Olivia at least. Meow.
The 1989 singer (who recently celebrated the anniversary of her pop album) took to Twitter to give a special shout-out to Olivia with an absolutely adorable and hysterical photo:
LOL! It's funny because it's kinda true. And also, cats giving off the vibe that they just can't be bothered with life is the best.
Swift hasn't posted anything for Meredith (yet), but we're almost positive that's on the way. After all, she wouldn't want to play favorites and end up causing a cat fight, right? Yes, that pun was totally intended.
Let's hope Meredith does get some lovin' today, because let's face, she's been a little bit of a sourpuss lately. Taylor posted a funny selfie with Grey a few weeks back that showed the singer flashing a big smile while Meredith just seemed a bit bothered by the camera. "Meredith is allergic to joy," Swift jokingly wrote.
Maybe there's still some tension from that $40 million scratch? Or maybe she's just spacing out her posts. Yeah, that's probably it.
