Chris Pratt is just the best.

No, really. And it's not because of his adorable looks, or his hot bod, or his great sense of humor...those are all fine things to have, but the real reason he's just the best is because he has a huge heart.

The Guardians of the Galaxy and Jurassic World actor has melted our hearts over and over again with his good deeds. Check out seven below.

1. Atlanta children's hospital visit

Most recently, on Saturday, Pratt met with child patients at the Children's Healthcare of Atlanta (CHOA) pediatric hospital.

The actor, who is in the city filming the movie Passengers, spent more than an hour at the medical center hanging out with the kids, many of whom seemed amused by his adorable, goofy expressions.

"What made the visit so wonderful was that he didn't just rush through it. He took his time and talked to every patient and their families," Veronica Smith, public relations coordinator at CHOA, told NBC's TODAY.com. "He really lifted the kids' spirits and was so down to earth."

The Ryan Seacrest Foundation, which maintains a broadcast media center at the hospital, posted a heartwarming video showing Pratt's visit.

"Believe in yourself and find that special thing about you that no one else has, which is what makes you unique, and focus on that," the actor is heard saying.

"Our patients & staff will remember @prattprattpratt's visit for millions of years. Thanks for a great visit, Chris!" the hospital tweeted, alongside a photo of Pratt with kids.

2. Thanking a hero

This past Sept. 11,  fourteen years after the 9/11 terrorist attacks, Pratt posted on Facebook a touching video thanking Mike Day, a former Navy SEAL who survived being shot 27 times while on duty in Iraq and suffered a brain injury. Pratt said he is donating $10,000 to the Carrack Brain Center in Dallas, where Day and other veterans have sought treatment.

"No matter where you land politically in terms of our countries involvement in foreign affairs, or the two wars we've been in post 9/11, there is no doubting the courage and valor men like Mike Day have shown," Pratt said. "He is a warrior in the true sense of the word."

3. Training the raptors...for the kids!

In June, Pratt visited patients at the Baton Rouge children's hospital Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center.

The actor, a celebrity supporter of Children's Miracle Network Hospitals, reenacted the Jurassic World "training raptors" meme for the kids, handed out movie-themed LEGO sets as gifts and signed posters.

"The children were all smiles as Pratt signed autographs for the patients, had fun conversations with them by their bedsides, and posed for pictures," read a medical center blog post. "The hospital offered thanks to Pratt for lifting the children's spirits by visiting and handing out Jurassic World goodies. He even reenacted his now-famous raptor-training scene from the movie for the kids and taught them how to train a velociraptor."

4. Star-Lord is here!

In February, Pratt lost a Super Bowl XLIX bet to Captain America star Chris Evans when the New England Patriots beat the Seattle Seahawks. As a result, Pratt visited Evans' chosen charity, Christopher's Haven in Boston, wearing his Guardians of the Galaxy costume... as well as Tom Brady jersey. The latter actor came along as well.

5. ...and so is Captain America

A month later, Evans dressed up as Captain America and accompanied by Pratt, visited patients at Seattle Children's Hospital.

"Thanks to @Disney for all your magic to make this visit possible and for sending Captain America his suit," the hospital tweeted. "Meeting Captain America and Star-Lord is an experience our patients will always remember."

6. Sharing the great news

In January, Pratt visited kids at Children's Hospital Orange County in California.

"After a long battle with childhood leukemia, Emma is going home cancer free!!!" Chris announced on Facebook, alongside a sweet photo of himself and the little girl. "Atta girl! You kicked cancer's butt!!!"

7. Surprise!

In August 2014, Pratt helped arrange a special screening of Guardians of the Galaxy for patients, families and staff at Children's Hospital Los Angeles and while the movie played, he snuck out and returned dressed up as Star-Lord.

"Star Lord (@prattprattpratt) cheered up our patients by sharing #GuardiansOfTheGalaxy!" read a tweet from the medical center. "Thanks for making them smile!"
