James Franco may be hiding a serious obsession with a certain former co-star.

The 37-year-old Oscar nominee shared a photo of his latest tattoo—a portrait of Hermione herself, Emma Watson, smack dab on his neck.

While peculiar, the tattoo is an artistic side profile of his former This Is The End co-star with her name inscribed in loopy cursive underneath.

"I <3 Hermoine. Ink by @indiangiver," Franco captioned a black and white shirtless selfie on Instagram, which also showcased an elaborate American eagle seated on his chest. For someone so in love, you could have spelled her iconic character's name right, James.

But, before Watson runs for a restraining order (kidding!), everyone can remain calm because all of the tattoos are just temporary. The artist he credited with crafting the neck art, Cheyenne Randall, reposted the photo on her own account with the caption, "#shoppedtattoos," a nod to her flair for faux artistry.

At a cursory glance, Randall's entire Instagram account is filled with iconic stars, like Elvis Presley and Marilyn Monroe, covered with body art thanks to one modern marvel, Photoshop. We can confirm wholeheartedly that the 1950s blond bombshell did not rock a tattoo sleeve on her days off.

While the Beauty and the Beast actress has not publicly commented on her fellow actor's new tat, Franco may have himself some competition when it comes to winning the HeForShe creator's affections. The 25-year-old has been romantically linked lately to her former colleague, Roberto Aguire, whom she met on the set of Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. The pair was recently spotted grabbing a bagged lunch together in Los Feliz, Calif.

But does Aguire have his new flame's face inked on his neck? It may be time to step up the grand romantic gestures.
