Anna Faris' Son Jack Will Be a Dinosaur for Halloween, but It Has Nothing to Do With Chris Pratt's Jurassic World Role

"I'm hoping we don't get a lot of people like, 'Ah, self-promotion, huh?'" the actress says on Jimmy Kimmel Live!

"I'm not crazy about Halloween," Anna Faris said on Jimmy Kimmel Live.

Let that sink in: the star of the Scary Movie series isn't a fan of All Hallows Eve.

So, what's the issue?

According to the Mom actress, finding a costume as an adult is "the worst" experience ever. "As a woman, it's lose-lose because if you dress up as something sexy, it's inevitably uncreative. It's like, 'You're a sexy baseball player. You're a sexy cat. You're a sexy sandwich.' I don't know," Anna explained to host Jimmy Kimmel Wednesday. "Then if you want to go the other way, like something interesting and truly creating, then you're envious of the sexy women at the party. Of course! You're like, 'Man, I was trying to go for something cool and there's all these hot women.'"

This year, however, Anna said she will be feeling pressure of a different sort. Though she is getting more into the Halloween spirit thanks to her 3-year-old son, Jack Pratt, she's also nervous about what he's planning to wear for the spooky holiday.

"We let him pick his costume this year and he's decided to become a dinosaur, a T-Rex," she revealed. "It's adorable but it also adds sort of a layer of a little bit of a weirdness, because of course, my husband is Chris Pratt and [he stars in] Jurassic World. This is the first year we're actually going to take him out trick-or-treating; we're looking forward to that as parents. I'm a little bit self-conscious because I'm hoping we don't get a lot of people like, 'Ah, self-promotion, huh?'"

It doesn't help that Universal Pictures' Jurassic World was one of the biggest blockbusters of the year and was recently released on Blu-ray, DVD and digital. "You are going to get that," Jimmy warned the actress. "It's going to look like Chris is walking around with a prop from the movie."

That, of course, would be a nightmare. "We're a bunch of jerks!" Anna joked.
