It's almost Halloween! The holiday that allows you to dress up and pretend to be somebody completely different than yourself. And nobody does that better than celebrities.

Which is probably why Hollywood's A-listers get in the spooky spirit more than anybody. They're all about ghosts and goblins, haunted houses and festive treats, and of course heading to the pumpkin patch in their most perfectly-styled fall outfit. But who can blame them for that last one?

Celebs don't seem to need any help celebrating the holiday, but just for fun we thought up some amazing costume ideas—we picked out a few of our favorite actors and musicians, and cast them in their most perfect Halloween costumes. The kind of costumes that will make you wonder, why didn't they think of that? Well maybe, now, they will.

Happy All Hallows Eve!

1. George Clooney: A Trophy

We're going to let you put the pieces of this not-so-complicated puzzle together, but let's just say the meaning of this costume is twofold. The Cloons is no stranger to a little awards show hardware, but he's also got himself quite the nice little setup with his high-achieving spouse, if you know what we mean.

2. John Legend & Chrissy Teigen: Jeffrey & Ina Garten

If we had to guess, we'd say that Chrissy has been harboring a secret wish to become Ina Garten. Just look at all the buttery chicken she's always making! John may or may not have feelings about this costume, but he does a pretty good job as taste-tester, and we're pretty sure he'd look fabulous in a turtleneck. Life is good when you're Jeffrey.

3. Lauren Conrad: A Pumpkin Spice Latte

The PSL was invented for Lauren Conrad's consumption. The craft queen is basic and proud of it, so why not rock it in its truest form? Plus, we know she's always up for a costume challenge, so we suggest she set aside the avocado toast and the pineapple Instagrams and throw this puppy together. Game on, LC.

4. Pharrell Williams: Joy from Inside Out

Because he's always happy. Get it?

5. Victoria & David Beckham: Hermione Granger and Harry Potter

Britain's other royal couple deserves to personify two of our favorite non-fictional Brits. And who better to take on the role of Hogwart's finest than Posh and Becks? To look that good, they have to know a few spells of their own.

6. Jimmy FallonMiley Cyrus at the VMAs.

Michael Tran/FilmMagic, James White/NBC

Somebody needs to step up and take on this costume, and the Tonight Show host is one of the most fearless dressers out there. We've seen him in mom jeans and overalls, so now it's time to see him don his finest eyelid bikini.

7. Nicole Richie: Justin Bieber

Yes, yes, so many times yes. Nicole is a working mother of two, so she needs a costume she can whip together in no time at all—luckily the Biebs decided to copy her exact haircut. And we have a feeling she has a skateboard and some basketball shorts she can throw on. Basically, this is an excuse for us to imagine Nicole Richie doing her best Justin Bieber swag walk.

8. Terrence Howard: Cookie Lyon from Empire

This Halloween the streets will be overflowing with replica Cookies. No one can embody the great queen of the Lyon empire quite like the great Taraji P. Henson herself, but Howard has had enough exposure to give it his best shot—all he needs is a little fur and leopard print. Cue a fantastic "I'm here to get what's mine."

9. Gwyneth Paltrow: Beyoncé in the "7/11" Video

Jon Kopaloff/FilmMagic

GP and Bey are BFFs, but this is really just an excuse to get Gwyneth into a Kale shirt.

10. Sam Smith: Left Shark

Kevin Mazur/WireImage, Jeff Kravitz/FilmMagic

This really needs no explanation: Sam Smith would be the best darn left shark this side of the Pacific Ocean.

11. One Direction: Fifty Shades of Grey

Jon Kopaloff/FilmMagic, Vintage Books

The remaining members of 1D need something they can rally around right now. And that thing is...BDSM. We kid, of course—we're thinking that Harry and the gang should pull out that pun-tastic all grey costume to show their more humorous side. (If they have one).

12. Taylor Swift's Girl Squad: Hocus Pocus

The Sanderson Sisters are a Halloween costume contest mainstay, and it's about time these girls try out some ensembles that are slightly more comfortable. We're doing this for their good. Now the only question is: Who gets to play Thackery Binx?

13. Rihanna: Chanel from Scream Queens

Steve Dietl/FOX, Antonio de Moraes Barros Filho/WireImage

Deep down, these two could be kindred spirits. They can both rock a fur coat like nobody's business, after all.

14. John KrasinskiEmily Blunt: Roger & Anita from 101 Dalmations

Uncanny physical resemblance aside, this is just a hilarious couples' costume for these two. Extra brownie points if they dress Hazel like a Dalmatian puppy.

15. Drake: Pizza

Anything to keep Drizzy from (presumably) going as himself yet again. Plus, he could shout 1-800-PIZZABLING all night long.
