UPDATE: Nick Carter found out on tonight's episode of Dancing With the Stars that he's expecting a baby boy! After dancing to "Can't Help Falling in Love," (which earned a perfect score!) the former boy band member opened a box that let out blue balloons!

Additionally, Carter and his wife Lauren Kitt have released the following statement to E! News: "My wife and I are happy to personally announce that we are pregnant. It has been our dream to have a family together and we cannot wait to welcome our first child into the world."

This Backstreet Boys hunk is about to enter unknown (but super exciting!) territory—fatherhood.

Multiple sources tell E! News that Nick Carter is going to be a dad! The singer's wife, Lauren Kitt, is pregnant with their first child. According to Us Weekly, who first reported the story, Kitt is four months along, and the pair are just ecstatic about the news.

"They are so happy and overjoyed," the insider tells the mag. "They've been trying and waiting for such a long time."

The pair tied the knot at the Bacara Resort and Spa in Santa Barbara in April 2014. The nuptials took place a little over a year after Carter popped the question on a small island in the Florida Keys.

The Dancing With the Stars competitor couldn't help but gush about his ladylove after they became husband and wife.

Carter shared during a Yahoo interview back in September 2014 that he knew Kitt was the one for him the moment they met. "I just felt an instant connection," he said. "It's like I just wanted to be around her."

Kitt added, "You have to find someone that you love and that loves you just as much. We can spend 24/7 with one another. I can't even spend that with my sister or my girlfriends, but I can spend 24/7 with him."

And now, a little one will be added into all of this love.

Congratulations to the soon-to-be parents!
