Ever wonder how certain celebrities still look as they did when they first burst onto the scene when they're decades into their careers? Well, these stars might be sitting on that answer.
Gavin Rossdale is turning 50 today, making it more than 20 years since the English rocker first set hearts afire as the lead singer of Bush. And apparently that Machinehead of his doesn't abide by the laws of physics, because his handsome face remains as youthful as ever.
The recently single father of three has maintained his alt-rock look, from his signature curly locks that he still wears at the Sixteen Stone length to his choice of neck jewelry.
And beneath the window dressing, that hair is still dark and bouncy and the skin covering his chiseled jaw remains impressively smooth. Aside from stopping the hands of time from moving forward, whatever he's doing is working.
Luckily we haven't aged a bit since 1997, either, or else the idea of Gavin Rossdale turning 50 might cause some fierce nostalgia pangs. Instead, we'll celebrate his genetic good fortune and hope that he has a grand day with family and friends. Based on looks alone, he could easily be blowing out way fewer candles.
But of course, the birthday boy isn't the only star who has defied Father Time (or found the best "aesthetician" ever).
Jennifer Lopez, Halle Berry, Sandra Bullock, Tom Cruise, John Stamos and Rossdale's gorgeous ex Gwen Stefani are all faces who come to mind when we think of celebs who are stuck in the 1990s—in a good way.
In fact, they all seem to be getting better with age!
