Penélope Cruz cares deeply for the charities she's involved with, so what better way to call attention to them than by joining Instagram and honoring her work with them?

The Vicky Cristina Barcelona star joined the photo-sharing platform Tuesday and shared a photo and a short video in which she hangs out with an 8-year-old boy named Lucas. It turns out Lucas is part of Uno Entre Cien Mil, a charity that fights against child leukemia. Cruz is the ambassador.

"My beautiful new friend Lucas," she wrote alongside the adorable photo. "An 8 year old full of wisdom. @unoentrecienmil Charity bracelet @viceroyoficial."

In her video, Lucas not only announces Cruz's appearance on Instagram but also talks about the documentary that she is working on. Lucas, of course, will make an appearance in the film.

When Cruz isn't busy working closely with Uno Entre Cien Mil, she's busy filming other movies. The gorgeous Spanish actress is filming Zoolander 2 alongside Ben Stiller and Owen Wilson. Her appearance in the anticipated comedy was speculated for a long time until Stiller confirmed the exciting news in April with an epic throwback photo of the Oscar-winning beauty.

"Excited to announce Penélope 'Little Penny' Cruz has joined #Zoolander2 cast! #fbf," captioned the 49-year-old actor.

The sequel is expected to follow Derek Zoolander as he tries to revive his image after his star power in the male modeling industry fizzles out. Jennifer Aniston's beau Justin Theroux wrote the script and Stiller will be directing.

"In the fashion world, if you go away for a year, it's changed—it just happens so quickly," Stiller told MTV about this installment. "I think the idea in the beginning of the movie is that its 10 years later, and Derek and Hansel are literally forgotten. Nobody remembers who they are, so they have to reinvent themselves."

The follow-up film is currently set for a February 2016 release.
