UPDATE: Kim Zolciak's daughter, Brielle Biermann, tells E! News exclusively, "I'm so glad the surgery is over and we can put it behind us. My mom will be back to herself in no time. She's already been drinking her Starbucks…through a straw!"

Kim Zolciak is on the mend after she experienced quite the health scare this year.

The Don't Be Tardy star underwent heart surgery this week, and thankfully she is doing just fine. She Instagrammed a selfie while she was in recovery and let fans know in her caption that she is OK.

My [heart] surgery was a success!! I can't wait to be back on my feet 100%! Glad it's over! Quite the whirlwind this last month has been...but such a blessing too," she captioned the pic. She ended her note with a series of hashtags that thanked everyone who has been there for her.

"#MyFamilyHasBeenAmazing #TheFalconsHaveBeenSoSupportive #GodIsIncredible #Blessed #Grateful #ThankYouToMyDoctorsAndNurses #AmazingTeam."

She also shared a sweet snapshot with her son KJ visiting her in the hospital, and captioned it, "My little man KJ he is the best snuggler."

Kroy Biermann's wife suffered a stroke in September, which stemmed from a blood clot related to a genetic condition she never knew she had—a hole in her heart. She broke that news on Instagram, too.

"The last 24hrs have been whirlwind! I landed yesterday morning from LAX (took the red eye right after DWTS) I got home and within minutes suffered a TIA (mini stroke)," the mother of six wrote alongside a hospital selfie.

Kim had to withdraw from Dancing With the Stars as a result of her health crisis, but the Real Housewives of Atlanta star told E! News that she was thankful that the problem didn't arise during the birth of her twins or while undergoing the knife for plastic surgery.

She also told us that while she was a little nervous for the surgery, she knew she could get through it. "I have one of the top cardiologists in the country who's amazing," Zolciak said. "Anything that has to do with you heart and brain is pretty scary, but heck, I've been through it. I'm OK."

We're glad to hear it. Get well soon, Kim!
