Bindi Irwin celebrated her first Halloween on Dancing With the Stars with a perfect score for her Argentine tango with partner Derek Hough to "Cry Little Sister" by Gerard McMann. It was a dance that required the ever-cheerful Bindi to get dark and a little, well, seductive.
"What I had to tell her this week, I was like, 'Alright, Bindi. You've done the fun performance, the smiles and all that, I need you to get fierce. And I said 'sexy' and I felt awkward. I immediately retracted that. I was like, 'I can't say that word in front of Bindi. That sounds weird to me,'" Derek told us.
He decided on seductive instead of sexy, thankfully, so how did the 17-year-old accomplish that? "She's like, 'I'm going to think of a tiger; I'm going to think of a shark.' She said a shark and I'm like, 'I don't understand.'"
You haven't lived until you've seen Derek's shark dancing impression.
Once Bindi channeled her inner ferociousness, Derek couldn't wait for her to go back to being his sweet Bindi. "You're allowed to do that for a minute and a half…this is a little bit much for me right now as your older brother," Derek said he told her. Click play on the video above for more.
Bindi celebrated her first Halloween ever on Dancing With the Stars and prior to her big performance she told E! News she was looking forward to candy corn, but not much else about Halloween. "This is my first real Halloween because we really don't celebrate Halloween in Australia, so it's really exciting," she told us. "I'm a little bit nervous because I don't do well with scary movies or being scared in general, so I think on Halloween, the actual night, I'm probably just going to be at home with my family drinking tea and locking the doors."
Dancing With the Stars airs Mondays at 8 p.m. on ABC.
