Don't kill the messenger Disney fans, but you're going to have to wait a little longer for that Hocus Pocus sequel.

Just days before Halloween, Bette Midler took to Twitter to update fans on any progress being made on a reboot to the unforgettable 1993 Disney movie. We're warning you, the news may be a bit upsetting.

".@kathynajimy .@SJP Breaking news!! SEQUEL DELAYED!!" she tweeted. "@Disney having trouble finding a virgin! #HocusPocus."

While a sequel has never officially been announced, Middler and her co-stars have expressed interest in coming back together for a follow-up. And based on Internet reactions from the tweet, there is still plenty of people that want to see it happen for real.

For now, fans can relive the movie at Disney World where a new show is being presented during Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party held select nights at the Magic Kingdom Park.

According to Disney blogs, the show will "gather together sinister shadows, nefarious nightmares and the power of their frightful friends to conjure the ultimate Hocus Pocus Party Potion and cast a spell on everyone in the Magic Kingdom Park."

And for those still hoping to see another rendition on the big screen, you know what to do!

"You have to send in your cards to the Walt Disney company," Middler once wrote on a Reddit AMA. "The ball's in their court."

She continued, "Inundate the Disney company, because I have canvassed the girls and they are willing to do it, but we have no say in it, so if you want a HOCUS POCUS 2, ask the Walt Disney company. You have been SO adorable. This has been most enlightening. SISTAHS!"
