We already have tears in our eyes thinking about The Hunger Games era coming to an end, mostly because we can't even imagine not seeing our favorite three friends—Jennifer Lawrence, Liam Hemsworth and Josh Hutcherson—together anymore.

But worry not! Hutcherson promises that nothing will change between the BFFs in the future.

"Since we finished filming, we've all still maintained the same friendships. It's nice to know we don't have to be on the set to hang out. It's good!" he told E! News on Thursday night at Ron Howard's Project Imagination premiere for The Rusted. "People think it's really sad, but it's not really sad because we all still hang out. It's not like we're losing these friendships and that's the end of it!"

However, the 23-year-old does have a strange feeling about moving on from the only thing he's known over the last five years.

"It's weird that this has been a part of my life for half a decade now, and I played the same character for all these years and now it's coming to an end," he explains. "It's a weird feeling, but I'm excited. I'm excited for the last one to finally come out, complete the series and then move on to whatever's next."

Hutcherson's co-star Jena Malone reciprocated his feelings about maintaining friendships after the series comes to an end.

"We've all become such good friends that we're going to see each other around," she tells E! News. "I think it's more just kind of sad that it's going to be the last time we're all doing it together in this way."

She explains, "It's like the end of summer camp! You know, it's like you really want to go home, but you really don't want to go home!"

The final trailer for the Hunger Games: Mockingjay—Part 2 was released earlier this month, giving us too much excitement to handle! The final film will hit theaters on Nov. 20.
