Kim Richards has been publicly struggling with her sobriety, but after a difficult summer that included rehab and legal troubles, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hill star is doing much better.

Her sister, Kyle Richards, opened up to E! News at the Nicky Hilton x Linea Pelle event Thursday and said that despite it all, her sister's health is improving.

"She was doing what she needed to do to take care of herself, so it wasn't the right timing for her," she explained.

Even though she and Kim ended the last season of RHOBH on a sour note—they weren't speaking—Kyle told Will Marfuggi, "We're good now."

Kyle also added that living in the limelight has also made it more difficult for the family to deal and process with everything, but thankfully she said Kim has found a routine that works for her. "In a normal situation people go through this privately, so it's very sort of strange to be going through this when so many people know...It's a little bit bizarre."

Kim also opened up about her rough few months on Brandi Glanville's podcast. "Everything is good…It's a good time for me right now," she revealed on Brandi Glanville Unfiltered. "I'm really happy things are going good."

Now that their Bravo reality TV series isn't filming, everyone has been able to take a step back and relax, including Glanville. "We were both saying it's relaxing for us and we're not so stressed out with everything that we would normally be stressed out with," Glanville explained. "We wake up with smiles on our face and we don't have to deal with the drama."

Richards added with a laugh, "Well, not every day. It's good. It's better now. It was a rough time for a bit there but it's just putting everything back in order and just really focusing on my family and me."

(E! and Bravo are both part of the NBCUniversal family.)
