Don't worry, Val Kilmer's OK...again.
The 55-year-old Top Gun and Batman Forever actor was recently the subject of a health scare rumor, his second in almost nine months. It claimed he had been hospitalized in the ICU at a Los Angeles hospital and could barely speak, with tubes hooked up to him.
"Thank you all for your love and support. There's a rumor I'm unwell again and in hospital which is totally untrue," Kilmer wrote on Facebook on Thursday afternoon. "I was in to verify I have no tumor or infection of any kind, which was verified by the very caring experts at UCLA."
The actor, who has been wearing scarves and handkerchiefs in public for almost a year, had also sparked concerns and rumors about his health in January.
At the time, he confirmed he had been hospitalized at UCLA Medical Center's ICU for a "complication." His rep said he was undergoing tests to check for a possible tumor. His diagnosis was not revealed.
Kilmer has been active on Instagram over the last week. He appeared to be in great spirits in a photo showing him at one of Los Angeles Dodgers' games against the New York Mets at Dodger Stadium.
