Fantastic Four's Kate Mara and Jamie Bell Are Not Hiding Their Romance Anymore—See Them Pack on the PDA

There's no question that Kate Mara and Jamie Bell are a couple.

In May, there was speculation that the Fantastic Four co-stars were secretly an item. In the following months, Mara and Bell were often photographed looking flirty in public (with and without co-stars Michael B. Jordan and Miles Teller) but they neither confirmed nor denied being a couple. Each time they were seen together, though, the romance rumors resurfaced.

Well, the guessing game is officially over.

Throwing caution to the wind, Mara, 32, and Bell, 29, kissed on a street corner in New York City's Soho neighborhood Thursday. And as the saying goes, a picture is worth a thousand words. Prior to getting together this year, Bell had been single for over a year after separating from his wife, actress Evan Rachel Wood, in May 2014, less than a year after the birth of their son. Mara, meanwhile, had split with her boyfriend of four years, actor Max Minghella, in 2014.

Perhaps the couple kept their relationship under wraps until they knew what it meant. Because as Bell explained to Elle earlier this year, he's "terrible with girls." In fact, he said, "I am an idiot because I never really know. I have been in numerous situations where I've been lying in bed with a girl and we're just talking and I'm sure in their minds they're thinking, 'Will you just f--king kiss me? Will you do something?' I guess that is an English thing—to not be as forward or as aggressive. I'm hoping that it comes across as charming versus lame. I guess I can't say it applies to all Englishmen, but for me, for sure, I'm definitely a little more hands off."

"I'm not particularly good by myself, either," he added. "I enjoy having someone."

Bell said it wasn't easy to find time to date given his work and parenting responsibilities. "It certainly sucks a lot of the spontaneity out of opportunities to meet people, for sure," he said. "A lot of the time I feel like my life is a bit like a sitcom, actually. I wonder what the sitcom would be. Dad Life? No, that sucks. Single Dad? No. I want it to be good, though, you know?"
