Longtime Swifties will recall that Taylor Swift's first debut single from her eponymous 2006 album was actually titled "Tim McGraw", and now, nearly 10 years later, the love is completely mutual.

So, when the 48-year-old country crooner stopped by the E! News studio to promote his forthcoming album Damn Country Music as well as his partnership with Merck & the American Diabetes Association, we had to ask the father of three when he plans on joining T.Swift's squad as he has yet to take the stage during her 1989 tour.

"I sang with her onstage a few years ago when she came through Nashville, but we've been missing each other all year," Faith Hill's husband, whose 14th studio album is due for release on Nov. 6, said.

"We want to see her show—I want to see her show, my wife wants to see her show. It's running out of time—we gotta go check it out," the dad to three teenage daughters revealed, adding, "We're big fans of her at our house."

The three-time Grammy award winner also opened up about his forthcoming album and revealed it features "great stories."

"I wouldn't say there's a theme that runs through the album, I think each song is very cinematic in its own way. Each song tells a story and you can sort of visualize your own sort of movie with each record," he shared.

One song on the album also features McGraw's 18-year-old daughter, Gracie, and the proud father couldn't help but smile while speaking about his eldest child.

"That was a lot of fun to have her on there," he gushed.

Be sure to tune in to E! News tonight at 7:00 and 11:00 p.m. to find out why McGraw was nervous to ask his daughter to sing on the track and check back on E!
