Life is looking a little rosier for Rosie O'Donnell.

The talk show host and Michelle Rounds settled their divorce Wednesday in New York City. "There's peace in the Middle East," Rosie joked after her court date with Michelle, according to The New York Post's Page Six. "It's done. We've settled. We're both very happy about the outcome," she added. Michelle's attorney also said the exes also agreed to "joint legal custody" of their 2-year-old daughter, Dakota. "I feel great," Michelle told reporters gathered outside Manhattan Supreme Court.

Through three hours of negotiations, the two remained cordial. At one point, Michelle's attorney was heard telling her, "Don't ask for the world. Be reasonable."

Rosie and Michelle began dating in mid-2011. The two married in a private ceremony in New York on June 9, 2012, and seven months later, they announced Dakota's adoption via Twitter. Rosie and Michelle split in November 2014 but did not confirm the news until February 2015—the same month Rosie abruptly announced she was leaving The View for a second time. "Rosie has teens and an infant at home that need her attention," Rosie's rep explained at the time. "This has been a very stressful situation. She is putting her personal health and family first."

One month into their marriage, Rosie also suffered a heart attack.

When Rosie filed for divorce in February 2015, she cited "an irretrievably broken relationship" as the reason for the split. The women had a prenuptial agreement.

The actress and mother of five was devastated just weeks ago after her teenage daughter, Chelsea, gave a damning interview to The Daily Mail. Rosie's rep told E! News it was "heartbreaking on every level," and during an Oct. 17 stand-up gig at the Gotham Comedy Club in New York City, the comic opened up about their family's public squabbles. "My daughter has been in the news. It's been in the news, but it's not news to the family. It's been a decade long," she told the crowd, adding, "As Mom, my wish is for love and peace and wait until it's done."
