Nothing says the holidays more than family get-togethers full of love, laughter and...drama!

In the new comedy Love the Coopers, four generations of one family reunite for Christmas. But forget Santa Claus and warm cups of hot chocolate in front of the fire place. Instead, the reunion turns into a circus of unexpected events and surprise visitors.

The all-star cast includes Olivia Wilde, Ed Helms, Amanda Seyfriend, Diane Keaton, John Goodman, Marisa Tomei and Alan Arkin.

"I think there's something about the universality of the experience of the holiday nightmare of family gatherings that I think people will identify with," Wilde says in E! News' exclusive first look at the film's new featurette.

So true!

Keaton's character tells her husband (Goodman), "This is the only time of the year we're all together and I want the kids to have a perfect time."

However, director Jessie Nelson explains, "They're trying to present a version of themselves that has nothing to do with what's really going on inside them."

Case in point? Wilde's character is seen cozying up to a complete stranger—a U.S. Army solider—at an airport. "I know you don't know me, but will you be my boyfriend for one night?" she asks. "That'll make my parents so happy."

Will it?
