Meet Oakley: a young great horned owl who loves two things... his favorite stuffed owl friend and getting down to the seasonal novelty song "Monster Mash." It's a pretty great tune—a graveyard smash, in fact.
In this throwback video that's getting a lot of autumnal attention again this week, the baby bird bops back and forth to the music as his stuffed animal buddy plays the song.
The stuffed owl isn't just Oakley's backup dancer, but a support system as well.
"He is always leaning against it," says Raptor Rehabber in the video's caption. "It gives him comfort and keeps him from stressing."
Now that Oakley's all grown up, and presumably back in the wild and free, there's no way to know how he's celebrating the season this year. Hopefully with a sick dance party?
We'd like to guess he's the fiercest feathered forest dweller out there.
