The 32-year-old Grammy winner released new music today, debuting her third single, "Renegrade Runaway," from her forthcoming studio album Storyteller, which is expected to debut on Oct. 23.
"New music alert! You can download Track 1 from #Storyteller if you pre-order now! #RenegadeRunaway http://smarturl.it/custoryteller -TeamCU," the country crooner's team posted on Twitter on Friday.
In typical Underwood fashion, the single is a catchy, powerful song with killer lyrics, and we predict it may just be your new favorite tune to belt out in the car.
"Renegade Runway" comes just one week after Underwood dropped "Heartbeat"—a romantic duet with singer Sam Hunt, which is reportedly inspired by her husband, Mike Fisher.
It's been an exciting year for the blond beauty, who welcomed her first child, son Isaiah, with her NHL-player hubby of five years in February.
And while she previously revealed that the album features a song for her baby boy, it's nice to know the American Idol winner's music hasn't lost its strong and sassy edge.
"I tried to avoid the 'mommy' songs, but one managed to find its way in there!" she previously revealed in a Facebook Q&A. "I'm glad it did, because he'll always have that!"
"I feel like a lot of the songs that I wrote and gravitated to ended up being more traditional and 'twangy' than anything I have ever done before," she added of Storyteller. "I just went with it! I love the story telling aspect of Country music...it's one of the reasons I always wanted to be a part of it."
