The 17-year-old wildlife expert has become season 21's frontrunner and fan-favorite, thanks to her impressive dance skills, her seemingly endless supply of positive energy and effortless chemistry with partner Derek Hough. And for their upcoming dance on Monday night, Bindi and Derek are set to pay homage to one of film's most iconic moments, recreating Dirty Dancing's "(I've Had) The Time of My Life" routine as part of the ABC reality hit's "Famous Dance" night.
The duo is definitely taking this theme and performance seriously as E! News has photos of Bindi and Derek practicing their lifts...by recreating the 1987 hit film's iconic water scene in a Los Angeles lake!
Seriously, how cute are these two, taking on the roles of Johnny (Patrick Swayze) and Baby (Jennifer Grey, a DWTS champ!)?! They got everything right, too, even down to the outfits. Seems like Derek and Bindi could be getting their first perfect score of the season with their Dirty Dancing tribute. Nobody puts Bindi in a corner! (Sorry, we had to.)
