Lamar Odom's children don't want you to give up on their dad.

E! News has obtained a statement from Destiny Odom, 17, and Lamar Odom Jr., 13, who have been by their ailing father's side at Sunrise Hospital in Nevada, on behalf of their family.

"Thanks for your outpouring of prayers and support for our dad. We are here with our family and friends," the statement read. "We appreciate everyone respecting our privacy at this time. We ask for your continued prayers."

E! News reported yesterday that Khloe Kardashian arranged for Odom's father, Joe Odom, as well as the former NBA star's two children and their mother, Liza Morales, to fly out to Las Vegas as the 35-year-old remains in a coma after being found unconscious in a Nevada brothel following a drug overdose

We were told that Odom's two children, along with Morales, were en route to the hospital from New York. Joe Odom, meanwhile, was photographed at Sunrise Hospital earlier yesterday.

Odom and Morales were together for over 10 years and share three children together: Destiny, born in 1998, Lamar Jr., born in 2002 and Jayden, who died at 6 months old of SIDS in 2006.

As of Thursday morning, E! News learned that Odom's condition remains "no better, no worse."

"Nothing's changed. Everyone is praying for a miracle," the source tells us, adding that doctors are preparing love ones that, should Lamar's brain be functional, it could be a very "long term" process of coming out of a coma.
