Don't share a Coke with Tom Brady.

Speaking on Boston radio station 93.7 WEEI FM's The Dennis & Callahan Morning Show this week, the 38-year-old New England Patriots quarterback talked about nutrition after being asked about his personal trainer and business partner Alex Guerrero, who has his own line of nutritional supplements and whose practices were criticized by Boston magazine. Guerrero had not responded.

"You probably go out and drink Coca-Cola and think, 'Oh yeah, that's no problem,'" Brady said. "Why? Because they pay lots of money for advertisements that think that you should drink Coca-Cola for a living? No. I totally disagree with that. And when people do that, I think that's quackery. And just the fact that they can sell that to kids, I mean, that's poison for kids. But they keep doing it."

A Coca-Cola spokesperson said in response all of the company's beverages "are safe and can be enjoyed as part of a balanced lifestyle."

"We offer more than 200 low and no‐calorie beverages in the U.S. and Canada and a wide variety of smaller portion sizes of our regular drinks," Fox Business quoted the rep as saying. "As a responsible beverage company and marketer, we prominently provide calorie and sugar information for our beverages so people can choose what makes sense for them and their families."

Brady, a former spokesman for Coca-Cola's Glaceau Smartwater, and his supermodel wife Gisele Bündchen, 35, are parents to son Benjamin Rein Brady, 5, and daughter Vivian Lake Brady, 2. He also shares an 8-year-old son, John Edward Thomas Moynahan, with ex-girlfriend and Coyote Ugly and Sex and the City actress Bridget Moynahan, 44.

In his radio interview, Brady also points the finger at Frosted Flakes. No, he does not think they're "grrreat!"

He joked how people "believe" Frosted Flakes cereal is "actually a food," saying, "You keep eating those things and you keep wondering why we do have just incredible rates of disease in our country."

Cereal company Kellogg's, which sells the popular cereal that is marketed to kids, said in response "a serving of Frosted Flakes with skim milk has just 150 calories and delivers valuable nutrients including calcium, B vitamins and iron," Fox Business reported.

However, as seen from Bündchen's Instagram, Brady's children do get to have some unhealthy sweet treats, at least once in a while.
