Lamar Odom remains hospitalized, and a source tells E! News that the situation "remains critical." The former NBA player is unconscious and isn't breathing on his own. Instead, he has the help of a ventilator, the insider says.

The situation is "no better, no worse. Nothing's changed. Everyone is praying for a miracle," the source tells us.

The source adds that doctors are preparing loved ones that, should Lamar's brain be functional, it could be a very "long term" process of coming out of a coma, if he does at all. The situation remains very unpredictable but "everyone" in the family is in Vegas.

Lamar was taken to the hospital Tuesday after being found unconscious at a Las Vegas brothel. Since entering Sunrise Hospital as a result of what doctors determined to be a drug overdose, Lamar has had many friends and family members rush to his side while he remains in a coma, including Khloe Kardashian, Kris Jenner, Kim Kardashian, Kylie Jenner and Kourtney Kardashian.

Khloé also paid for Lamar's father, Joe Odom, and Lamar's kids, Destiny and Lamar Jr., to fly into town. Kobe Bryant also stopped by the hospital to visit his friend.

Those who couldn't make it in person have turned to social media to wish the former Los Angeles Lakers player well. Former teammates, friends and fans are keeping Lamar in their prayers, including "brother" Rob Kardashian.

Rob, who has kept a low profile over the past year, emerged on Instagram to pay tribute to Lamar in a heartfelt post. "Praying nonstop for my Brother!!" Rob wrote with a snapshot of the duo hugging during an old episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians. Kourtney and Kris liked the picture minutes after.

Kris also shared her own Instagram, asking followers to pray for "our fighter."

Life has been put on hold for the Kardashian-Jenner families so everyone can be with Lamar and Khloe. Kim canceled her baby shower that was originally scheduled for this weekend so she can be with her sister.

"She's totally focused on being there for Khloe right now," an insider told us.

Khloe and Lamar filed for divorce in December 2013 after four years of marriage. Both signed the papers this year, but because of a backlog in the L.A. court system a judge has yet to sign off on it. As a result, the spouses are still legally married.

Although Khloe cut off contact with Lamar this summer, she is said to be "completely inconsolable" during this tragic time. She continues to pray for Lamar's recovery.
